Work the street around your next job

  1. Pick your area

Choose ZIP codes or draw the area where you'll tow the trailer. Starter includes 3 ZIP codes, Growth 10 and Pro 30.

  2. Knock or hang cards

Walk the street with the map on your phone. On Growth and Pro, use the mail export for postcards and door hangers, each with a QR code for that home.

  3. Check who answered

On Growth and Pro, a scan opens your quote page. If the homeowner asks for a quote, you get the details they entered. You can also check which homes scanned without asking.

Look for power washing customers near booked jobs

Setting up the surface cleaner and running hose takes time, even on a small driveway. A neighbor who books can add work without another drive. When you’ve booked a job, check which other addresses on that street have enough flatwork to be worth a knock.

The list shows estimated driveway, patio and pool-deck area. On Growth and Pro, sort leads by distance to your customers. On any plan, open the map on your phone and walk the block. Use the route density guide to count the drive before taking a faraway job.

Put both “power washing” and “pressure washing” on a door hanger. Homeowners use both names.

Put your name on the hanger and see who answers

On Growth and Pro, the mail export gives each home a separate QR code for your postcards and door hangers. A scan opens a quote page with your business name and logo. If the homeowner asks for a quote, you get an alert with the details they entered.

You can see which hanger, street or week brought the most replies. Use that to choose where to send the next batch. Homes that scanned but didn’t request a quote show up as follow-ups. Knock when you’re washing nearby.

Every plan also exports a CSV for your CRM or field-service app.

Mail before your busy weeks

Pull your list a few weeks before your busy stretch starts, so postcards land before your schedule fills. If you wash most of the year, split your service area and work a few ZIP codes each month instead of mailing all of it at once.

New-owner alerts come weekly (daily on Pro). Add those addresses to your next knock list, especially if you’re already working nearby.

When you finish a job, offer a return visit for the same time next year and put a reminder in your CRM. Check nearby addresses when that visit comes around.

What changes the price on site

The square footage on the list is an estimate. Walk the job before giving a firm price. Check what could change the work:

  • Access. Check gates, parked cars and planters on the area you’d wash. Ask the owner to move the car the night before so you don’t have to move it during the job.
  • Water. Find the spigot and run it. If it’s weak or far from the flatwork, plan on your buffer tank.
  • Stains. Oil spots, rust from fertilizer or irrigation, and tire marks may not lift with pressure alone. Tell the owner what you expect to get out before you start.
  • Pavers. Washing can pull joint sand. Quote re-sanding or sealing as its own line if the owner wants it.
  • Pool decks. Ask what the deck is coated with. Textured coatings can chip under a surface cleaner, so test a corner at low pressure. Keep runoff out of the pool.
  • Runoff. Some towns limit wash water going into storm drains. Check your local rules before you set up.

Check older homes for siding work

If you want siding work, check older homes. Before running a surface cleaner, look for cracked or flaking concrete. If siding is chalking, ask the owner about a lower-pressure soft wash.

For paid work that disturbs paint on a home built before 1978, check the EPA’s lead-safe work rules before you take on the siding.

Work out what a new customer is worth

Enter your price per wash, jobs per customer each year and number of new customers. The calculator below shows added revenue per month and year, plus how many customers cover each plan for a year.

Within your plan’s monthly lead limit, checking more addresses doesn’t add a per-lead charge. Compare ZIP codes and lead limits on the pricing page.

See what new customers could add

Enter what you charge and how often you work for each customer. See yearly sales before costs and how many customers would cover a plan at its monthly price.

Your usual price for one visit or job, in dollars.

How many times you service one customer in a year. A seasonal contract billed once counts as one.

How many new customers you'd like to sign this year.

Enter your numbers to see what new customers could bring in.

This compares sales before costs with twelve monthly plan payments. It uses your numbers and our plan prices, not a forecast of what you'll earn.

Common questions

How close are the square footage numbers?

They're estimates, not measurements. Use them to pick which driveways to knock, then walk the surfaces before you set a price.

Why is a home on the list?

Each lead lists its reasons, like a wide driveway or a new owner. Confirmed means start here. Likely means check from the street first.

How do I know which door hangers worked?

On Growth and Pro, each hanger or postcard from the mail export has a code for that home. See who scanned, who asked for a quote and which street or week drew responses.

Does it work for soft washing too?

Yes. Check year built if you want to visit older homes for siding work. Inspect the siding before you quote it.

What does it cost?

Starter is $49 a month for one service, 3 ZIP codes and 150 leads a month. Growth is $129 for three services, 10 ZIP codes and 600 leads a month. Growth adds the mail export and response tracking. Every plan has a 14-day trial with no card required.

Do leads come with phone numbers?

No. You reach the home with a knock or a hanger with your name on it. On Growth and Pro, owners who want a quote send you their contact details from your quote page.

Are the leads exclusive to me?

No. Another washer may see the same home. You pay by the month, not by the lead. Work the streets that fit your wash days.
